Senior Electrical Estimator

Summary: The Senior Electrical Estimator will prepare detailed project estimates, analyze labor and material costs, support bid preparation, and collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and project teams within a heavy commercial electrical construction environment. This role will support forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, and operational planning initiatives to ensure profitable project execution. As a Senior Electrical Estimator, you will: Prepare accurate estimates and bid proposals for heavy commercial electrical construction projects Review project scopes, specifications, drawings, and design-build requirements Analyze labor costs, materials, production timelines, and operational requirements Conduct research and data analysis to support forecasting, budgeting, and estimating accuracy Utilize software including McCormick, EMB, and Excel for estimating and reporting activities Obtain and review subcontractor and vendor quotations for cost analysis and bid preparation Perform risk analysis and support profitability planning initiatives Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and project teams Provide operational planning support involving scheduling and manpower forecasting Create and present estimate reports, bid packages, and project recommendations to leadership teams Qualifications: 5+ years of Electrical Estimating experience preferred 3+ years of Design-Build estimating experience required Experience within heavy commercial electrical construction environments Strong understanding of project management and financial principles Proficiency with McCormick, EMB, Excel, and estimating software platforms Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) preferred Education: Bachelor's degree preferred Equivalent industry experience considered Salary: $120K-$130K Ask for: Hersha Dwyer Job Id: 26289 Ajulia Executive Search is a New Jersey based Executive Search Firm specializing in retained searches in multiple sectors, including Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Legal, and Pharmaceutical.
