Your future role at a glance Location : Milwaukee, WI Facility : Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Milwaukee Campus Department : Med Surg Schedule : Night Shift l PRN How you'll make an impact in this role Support high-quality recovery by providing direct patient care and therapeutic services for those recovering from strokes, seizures, and major surgeries under the guidance of our RN and Physician team. Contribute to the assessment of patients and assures the well-being of patients. Monitor patient stability by vigilantly assessing condition changes and medication reactions, ensuring every patient remains on a safe path toward discharge. Administer clinical treatments and medications with precision, maintaining a high standard of safety and comfort for patients with complex medical needs. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
