Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our Quality Assurance team in Redlands, CA. In this entry-level role, you will perform visual and dimensional inspections on precision electronic and mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods. You will ensure everything built adheres strictly to our high standards and ISO 9001 quality management procedures. Key Responsibilities Inspection: Perform thorough visual and dimensional inspections of incoming components, in-process sub-assemblies, and completed instrumentation. Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed records of inspection and test methods, procedures, and results. Non-Conformance Tracking: Monitor product quality, reporting any non-conformances, trends, or underlying root causes of defects. Technical Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret basic blueprints, technical specification sheets, and certificates. Standards Compliance: Adhere strictly to clean work area requirements, static-controlled environment protocols, and established ISO 9001 Quality Management System procedures. Job Requirements Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate of Arts or a Bachelor’s degree is a plus. Experience: Prior 2+ years of manufacturing experience is preferred. A strong track record of employment stability is highly desired. Competencies: Ability to read and comprehend basic math and English concepts. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills. Aptitude: Mechanically inclined with an interest or aptitude for electronic/mechanical assembly. The ability to differentiate between colors is required. Software: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Schedule: Must be available to work overtime and Saturdays when required. Physical Requirements Ability to perform intricate hand manipulations (e.g., using screwdrivers, handling small calibrated parts). Ability to lift up to 40 lbs from the floor to above your head. Ability to push a supply cart and withstand prolonged periods of sitting or standing
