Clinical Scope

The incoming physician will provide full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care, including:

• Prenatal and postpartum care
• Routine and higher-risk obstetric management
• Labor-and-delivery coverage
• Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Preventive and routine gynecologic care
• Evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic gynecologic conditions
• Gynecologic procedures and surgery
• Inpatient and outpatient consultations
• Shared weekday and weekend call
• Collaboration with physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and hospital-based specialists
• Patient and family education
• Accurate and timely clinical documentation

Practice Support

The women's health program includes experienced clinical professionals, midwifery support, an advanced-practice provider, nursing personnel, and a modern labor-and-delivery environment.

The organization is actively expanding physician coverage to meet regional demand and strengthen access to comprehensive women's healthcare.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Eligible for unrestricted North Carolina medical licensure
• Strong obstetric and gynecologic clinical judgment
• North Carolina License
• Appropriate surgical experience
• Collaborative and patient-centered approach to care
