The team is responsible for establishing a culture of data driven decision making and creating business value through promoting the application of data analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and techniques across a broad range of business areas. They will regularly interact with key stakeholders to identify, develop, and deploy data analytics systems that are aligned to our strategic roadmap. The successful candidate must be entrepreneurial and a self-starter with the ability to challenge the status quo.This role is hybrid and requires regular onsite presence in Melbourne, FL. Candidates must be within a commutable distance of the Melbourne site. Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the NGAS PM Data Strategy, in support the Enterprise Data StrategyLead the execution of NGAS PM data analytics and AI activitiesProactively identify issues and inefficiencies within the business to develop and deploy solutionsDrive the adoption of data analysis methodologies across sector and program operations for improved performance analysisLead the monitoring and analysis of operational data to identify trends, issues and opportunities, and provide recommendations/solutionsActively engage with sector leaders and key stakeholders to identify and understand operational issues and develop solutionsDesign and manage the NGAS PM data infrastructure and automationDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes across multiple data sourcesBuild and optimize data models (star, snowflake, data vault) for analytics and reportingImplement robust data quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks to ensure reliability of downstream insightsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in STEM related discipline and 9 years minimum of related experience OR Master's degree with STEM 7 years of related Data Analytics as defined below.2 years as a technical leader of product development teams that have successfully delivered customer-driven productsStrong proficiency in SQL and Python. Strong proficiency developing and deploying Tableau dashboards and the ability to translate business needs into visual insights. Excellent ability to communicate complex analytical subject matter across varied audiencesStrong understanding of business and engineering processes, tools, and techniquesExperience with large scale distributed software and agile software development methodologiesProven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teamsExperience with UX design and developmentMust possess an active US Government Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) clearancesPreferred Qualifications:Master’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer ScienceSoftware development experienceDemonstrated experience developing product visions and fostering effective engineering teamsExperience collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing insights from multiple data sourcesUnderstanding of Northrop Grumman policy, process, and productsAbility to make decisions with minimal supportExperience in a program management roleCurrent Special Access Program (SAP) clearances.Primary Level Salary Range: $126,600.00 - $189,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
