Pharmacy Technician

Certified Pharmacy TechnicianThe Certified Pharmacy Technician supports daily operations in a hospital-based retail pharmacy by assisting with prescription processing, medication dispensing, insurance billing, inventory management, customer service, and regulatory compliance. This role works closely with pharmacists, patients, and healthcare teams to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):Process prescriptions, enter orders, prepare medications, and label prescriptions accurately.Provide customer service, assist patients, and complete pharmacy transactions.Manage insurance claims, prior authorizations, and billing issues.Maintain medication inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and monitoring supplies.Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, HIPAA requirements, and medication safety standards.Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare teams to support patient care and prescription fulfillment.Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
