Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to craft tailored treatment plans that meet individual patient needs.
• Deliver short-term individual counseling sessions and crisis intervention for clients navigating a variety of mental health challenges.
• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops focused on essential topics such as stress management, coping strategies, and resilience building.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver integrated care that addresses all aspects of a patient's needs.
• Participate in outreach programs aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma, including community wellness events.
• Document interactions and maintain confidential patient records to comply with ethical guidelines and legal requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required; Master’s or doctoral degree is preferred.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues, particularly those prevalent in a telehealth setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills enabling effective interaction with clients and collaboration with a multifaceted healthcare team.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and brief therapy methodologies relevant to mental health counseling.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a telehealth environment is advantageous, particularly in delivering therapy remotely.
• Background in hospital or community mental health settings is beneficial.
