Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support residents' functional independence and daily living skills
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive resident care
• Must present a valid state or federal issued photo identification upon arrival at the facility and wear a photo badge at all times while on site

Required Qualifications

• Current COTA certification (NBCOT)
• Active Massachusetts state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Valid state or federal issued photo identification required
• Ability to fulfill a 16-week contract assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary care environment
