Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Lawton, Oklahoma. The OR RN will provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures while collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgical procedures

• Assist during surgeries and maintain sterile technique

• Monitor patients throughout operative and recovery phases

• Administer medications and document patient care accurately

• Collaborate with physicians and surgical staff

• Ensure compliance with hospital safety and infection control standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN Operating Room experience required

• CVOR experience preferred

• Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact License required at time of submission

• BLS and other certifications preferred (facility may review candidates without active copies)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
