To learn more about the practice, please visit our website at LOCATION DETAILS Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates - Primary office location: Griffin, with the ability to flex between the Forsyth and Locust Grove offices. GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES Responsible for providing medical assistance to patients in office and in hospital, and receives training and direction from practice physicians. RESPONSIBILITIES Running daily GI outpatient clinic Accurately providing and counselling patients with information for medical treatment or procedures Answering emails and voicemails and returning patient calls in a timely and efficient manner Abiding by and promoting HIPAA compliance; maintaining strictest confidentiality with regards to patient information REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE Master of Medical Science, Physician Assistant or Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner required, adult or acute care Nurse Practitioner. GI experience preferred, however, new graduates are welcome to apply. Must be computer literate and able to operate Practice Management software and multiple Microsoft Office applications.
