APT | Registered Physical Therapist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat disorders affecting human movement across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive care plans tailored to patient needs, ensuring effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with privacy regulations.

Essential Responsibilities

• Adhere to organizational mission, vision, and values while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform duties within the scope of practice as defined by licensing boards.
• Evaluate patient conditions and provide appropriate physical therapy interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Educate patients on physical care aspects and provide clinical oversight to Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Maintain professional relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and external agencies.

Education and Experience

• Education meeting licensure requirements at the time of issuance.
• Preferred: Previous experience in a similar clinical environment.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Physical Therapy license through the applicable state board.
• Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation.
• Driver's license and auto insurance if position requires driving.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of physical therapy principles.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements

Medium work involving occasional lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent standing or walking for 26-50% of the day. Accommodations may be provided as needed.
