Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Pre/Post & PACU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (start times vary between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care in an outpatient surgery setting
• Adapt to variable daily assignments across Pre-Op and PACU areas, with staggered start times between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM
• Deliver PACU nursing care through completion of the patient's recovery, remaining until the end of the shift as there is no shift relief in outpatient surgery
• Float to nearby sister facilities as required by the assignment
• Maintain compliance with facility scheduling requirements, including holiday commitments and RTO policies

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license (pending license accepted; compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room or Pre/Post nursing experience
• Flexibility to work variable start times and adapt to daily area assignments
• Willingness to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Must reside outside a 50-mile local radius or be willing to accept local rate terms
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are accepted
• Experience in an acute care facility setting
• Familiarity with outpatient surgical environments and PACU workflows
