Director of Nursing

Job Title: Director of Nursing Emergency Services Position Type: Permanent Base Salary: $96,241 to $149,177 + Full Benefits (based on experience) Position Summary: We are seeking a Director of Nursing Emergency Services to provide leadership and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), responsible for all nursing and designated patient care functions within the hospital organization. This role involves assisting in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a multi-unit level, with 24/7 responsibility for assigned areas. The Director ensures high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and effective resource management related to patient care. Skills and Certifications: Must be a registered nurse (RN) with a current license in the state of practice. Must have highly effective interpersonal and communication skills. Must have proven leadership ability and hospital operational knowledge. CPR certification required. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or director. Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the Emergency Room. Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or a BSN.
