Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (ER/Med Surg) – Kansas

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Goodland, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Days, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 12-hour shifts in a Critical Access Hospital setting

Highlights:

• Cross-trained role supporting both Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical units based on patient needs
• Patient ratios typically 1:3, maximum 5:1, with support from LPNs, CNAs, and unit secretary
• Athena EMR system utilized throughout facility
• Flexible dress code with no set scrub color requirements
• First-time travelers welcome; less than 3 years of experience may be considered
• COVID-19 vaccine exemptions accepted; flu vaccine not required

Requirements:

• Active Kansas state license or multistate compact RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (all American Heart Association) required
• Previous travel experience preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to provide care across multiple service lines including emergency and medical-surgical settings
• Strong adaptability and critical thinking skills for varied patient presentations
