Research And Development Chemist

We are seeking an experienced R&D Chemist with a strong background in wet chemistry, polymer formulation, and chemical synthesis to support innovative R&D projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on laboratory work, formulation development, and solving complex chemical challenges in a regulated environment. Pay Range: $40/hr. to $45/hr.; The pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Key Responsibilities: Conduct wet lab experiments involving chemical and polymer synthesis. Develop and optimize chemical formulations, resins, and laboratory solutions. Perform laboratory testing using FTIR, DSC, titration, and related analytical techniques. Design experiments, troubleshoot formulations, and analyze material performance. Prepare laboratory protocols, technical reports, and documentation. Interpret experimental data and provide technical recommendations. Maintain GMP-compliant laboratory documentation and safety standards. Support IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities and day-to-day laboratory operations. Required Skills: 5+ years of hands-on wet lab experience. Strong background in Polymer Chemistry and Chemical Formulation . Experience with Chemical Synthesis and Laboratory Testing . Hands-on experience with FTIR, DSC, and Titration . Strong data analysis and technical report writing skills. Experience working in a GMP-regulated laboratory . Knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ validation is preferred. Experience handling hazardous chemicals safely. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline. Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Specialty Chemicals, Coatings, Adhesives, or Polymer industry experience. Isocyanate chemistry experience is a plus.
