Armed Driver Guard

Position Pays $23.00 - $26.45 per hour plus overtime. $5,000 bonus for candidates with a valid California Guard Card, Exposed Firearms Permit, and approved Duty Firearm. Job Description As an Armed Driver Guard, you work with your team to ensure the safe and secure pickup and delivery of cash, coins, and valuables. Responsibilities Drive automatic armored vehicles and other vehicles on designated routes servicing customer locations Service ATMs and Smart Safes Service customer stops, including delivering customer change orders and picking up deposits Load and unload vehicle cargo, including multiple bags and boxes of coins Count items, record, and sign for cargo items Perform other duties as assigned by management Requirements At least 21 years of age At least a 3‑year driving record Ability to obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate via a US Department of Transportation‑approved medical examiner Valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms requirements per the state where applying Open to becoming Total Protection System (TPS) certified at the company’s expense if required for the role Working Conditions Full‑time schedule potentially averaging 40 to 50 hours per week, with a minimum of five days within a six‑day period, including occasional weekend work Approximately 90–95 % of work is performed in air‑conditioned vehicles within individual compartments (front and rear) Essential Duties / Job Qualifications Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) required, including the following physical tests: Lift: 25 lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 66 inches from the floor (1X) Lift‑Carry: 18 lbs vertical lift from 1 inch to 44 inches from the floor, horizontally transfer 15 ft (4X) Lift‑Carry: 18 lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches from the floor, horizontally transfer 30 ft (1X) Lift‑Carry: 50 lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches from the floor, horizontally transfer 2 ft (2X) Push‑Pull: Horizontally transfer 47 lbs of force on a sled (single, non‑dominant arm), a distance of 1 ft (2X) Repetitive Coupling: Squeeze Jamar Hand Dynamometer requiring forces up to 30 lbs for both hands (4X) Climb: Ascend/Descend a step with heights of 16, 21, and 24 inches from the floor (10X) Benefits Vacation and Sick Time (PTO) as well as Paid Holidays Vision Insurance 401(k) Plan Basic Life Insurance Plan Voluntary Life Insurance Plan Flexible Spending and Health Savings Account Dependent Care Account Industry‑leading Training and Development Loomis is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug‑Free Workplace.
