Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Projected Start: 09/21/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention throughout the labor and delivery process
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and assessment, interpreting electronic fetal monitor strips and responding to signs of fetal distress
• Manage and respond to obstetric emergencies including preterm labor, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, placenta previa, placental abruption, umbilical cord prolapse, and postpartum hemorrhage
• Float to Postpartum unit as needed to support patient care continuity
• Document patient care accurately using Centricity and Meditech electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, demonstrating adaptability, strong communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS or ALS-OB certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Centricity and/or Meditech EHR platforms
• Prior travel nursing experience in Labor and Delivery or OB/GYN settings
• Demonstrated ability to float to Postpartum and adapt quickly to new unit environments
