Production Associate

Overview The Production Associate plays a vital role in ensuring product quality and supporting smooth daily operations. You will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and safety as you manage production tasks that impact our standards and product excellence. A successful candidate will collaborate with team members to monitor quality, maintain efficiency, and follow safety protocols to protect themselves and teammates. High performance is defined by consistency and the ability to exceed production benchmarks, with opportunities to grow within Perdue's culture. Full Time Travel: Minimal (if any) Responsibilities Works at various stations along the production line processing poultry food products Operates machinery and equipment following safety protocols and standard operating procedures Maintains a clean and organized work area to uphold food safety standards Collaborates with team members to achieve production targets Participates in company and department safety programs Qualifications High School or equivalent (not required but preferred) Experience in a distribution warehouse (preferred) Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs by reaching, bending, and pushing boxes Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection as required May work in an environment with varying temperatures between 28 degrees and 100 degrees Fahrenheit May handle products varying in temperatures between 25 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 dB to 110 dB May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry processing facilities Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors and chlorine less than 20 ppm Equal Opportunity Perdue Farms Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
