Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to:Project Operations ManagerYour role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result.The work model for the role is remote.This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions LV division in Mexico.You will be mainly accountable for:Leading the execution of medium-large size projects and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract and technical specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, cost/profitability targets, and milestones achievement.Ensuring that the project follows execution best practices, ABB policiesEnsuring proactive risk mitigationMonitoring and controls project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow.Ensuring that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements.Acting as key contact for the customer, escalations point for project issues, building and maintainining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.Qualifications for the roleBachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or similar (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing).Experience in electrification market7+ years of experience in Project Management in manufacturing industry (Knowledge of financial concepts and contract management)Knowledge of PMI and Project Management Tools, SAP.Advanced English requiredOpen to travel 60% National and InternationalValid USA VISA (Preferred)Benefits We also offer our employees the following benefits:Life InsuranceRetirement planAccident InsuranceWellbeing programDental insuranceFlex daysDevelopment platforms: Spark, Harvard Manager Mentor and English Learning EF English Live School (EF)More about usBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
