Job Description

The Facilities Technician is responsible for providing general maintenance support for assigned buildings, ensuring they remain safe, secure, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the facility to ensure it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
• Troubleshoot power HVAC systems and controls, as well as mechanical systems.
• Maintain general and preventative maintenance for carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management.
• Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed.
• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.

• Experience with power tools.
• 0-2 years experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.
• Skills in general production, general labor, and facilities maintenance.

• Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse. The position operates on the 1st shift from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

The pay range for this position is $23.42 - $23.42/hr.
