RN, Cardiac Cath Lab - Day Shift

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate will utilize the nursing process and critical thinking in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to ensure exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations of care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved techniques, policies, and state laws.
• Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation according to established standards.
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to their understanding and needs.
• Participate in department performance improvement activities, including shared governance.
• Utilize clinical expertise to support other units/departments in patient care.
• Manage complex situations and delegate appropriately while prioritizing patient safety and experience.
• Engage in personal development and support continuous learning opportunities.
• Participate in peer review and feedback initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 3 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in critical care.
• Cardiovascular intervention experience required.
• Current WI or Compact RN licensure.
• Current BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Schedule

This is a day shift position with on-call rotation: on call one night a week and one weekend a month.
