Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position offers a Night 3x12-Hour shift from 19:00 to 07:00, rotating between units as needed, with the main unit being Medical Surgical.

Job Description

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients, ensuring their needs are met through effective assessment and intervention.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of 6:1 during shifts.
• Conduct assessments and implement nursing interventions with precision.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with various healthcare teams including Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment adhering to isolation precautions and proper PPE usage.
• Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a similar role.
• Active PA or Compact nursing license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius.
