Pay Starting hourly rate: $17.25 USD per hour. Pay range: $17.25 – $25.90 USD per hour. About the Role The Human Resources Expert works with store teams to support operations, attraction and development of talent. The role includes delivering a friendly guest experience, recruiting, employee training, scheduling, compliance and continuous improvement of HR processes. Responsibilities Provide an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting guests promptly, helping them find items or resolve issues, and closing transactions with a sincere thank you. Support team efforts, assist peers, and maintain a positive and respectful attitude. Work with your HR leader to anticipate and address staffing needs for the business, ensuring the right mix of experience and skills for in‑store and digital shopping experiences. Lead focused recruiting efforts, helping store leaders find and hire suitable candidates. Support team member and leader training needs and advocate for continuous learning. Serve as an expert resource for scheduling systems, pay practices and other workforce management tools. Remain approachable, listen to team members, collaborate with leaders and act on issues as needed. Deliver on all Human Resources processes and programs to maximize team engagement and minimize business disruption. Follow company compliance policies, mitigate risk to the team member experience, and demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance. Operate safely at all times, comply with safety policies, report hazards and correct them where possible. Perform other duties as needed to support business goals. Qualifications Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and fellow team members. Proficient in communication across multiple devices and capable of operating handheld scanners and other technology equipment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot. Attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes. Capacity to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment while accomplishing multiple tasks within time constraints. Physical ability to accurately handle cash register operations, lift footwear up to 10 pounds, lift merchandise up to 44 pounds without assistance, work in varying temperatures and humidity, and remain mobile throughout scheduled shifts.
