Job Summary

Walnut Creek Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Unit Manage (RN) to join our team at our Erie, Pennsylvania facility. Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of our 115-bed skilled nursing facility, ensuring that all departmental activities are carried out in a efficient and effective manner

• Develop and implement unit policies and procedures , in collaboration with the facility's leadership team, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards

• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to enhance skills and knowledge

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team , including therapy, dietary, social services, and activities departments, to develop and implement individualized plans of care for our residents

• Conduct daily rounds to monitor resident care and address concerns in a timely and effective manner

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care, staff performance, and facility operations

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field

• Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of 1+ years in a management role

• Excellent communication and leadership skills , with the ability to motivate and inspire staff

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills , with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands
