Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position available in the region. This role involves providing high-risk obstetric and neonatal care within a short-term acute care facility. The position requires flexibility with rotating shifts, float requirements across units, and flexibility to work scheduled on-call hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, with 12-hour shift hours, starting at either 3 a.m. and 3 p.m. or 11 a.m. and 11 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license with a compact license accepted; at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing; current certifications including AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP; experience in high-risk obstetrics, fetal monitoring, sterile exams, cesarean sections, epidural management, neonatal resuscitation, and postpartum care; ability to assist with high-risk delivery and sterile vaginal exams; experience charting in Epic EMR system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working with high-risk obstetrics patient populations and float experience across maternity, antepartum, and nursery units.
• Additional Information: The position requires a vehicle due to floating between multiple facilities in the region, including facilities in Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent. Floating to different units and facilities is a regular part of the assignment, with an incentive for floating at Seaside. Candidates must be available to work three of the five major holidays and provide references covering at least one year within the last three years.
