Remote Patent Prosecution Legal Secretary You must live in Arizona and know how to e-file with the USPTO. The firm values tenure and requires at least 3 years in each job. FULLY REMOTE* *If you are within 1.5 hours of Phoenix, you must work in the office 2-3 days a week. CDT Zone Hours: 9:30-6 or 10-6:30, t Paid overtime; This role will work with partners in CA and across the US. $65,000-$85,000, depending on years of Patent experience, skills, and education. The firm seeks a full-time patent prosecution secretary with at least 3+ years of U.S. patent prosecution and application filing and prosecution experience. This position supports several timekeepers in Electrical and AI Patent prosecution, including coverage during the department’s secretarial absences. Duties Prepare U.S. patent applications, amendments, and other legal documents for e-filing and reporting. Prepare reporting letters for the client to review by the timekeepers. Prepare expense reports for timekeepers. Work with Firm Travel to coordinate timekeeper travel arrangements. Correspond directly with clients as requested. Knowledge and Skills Required and Preferred Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required. 3+ years of patent application filing and prosecution experience, Domestic and Foreign would be a plus. Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Strong attention to detail. Solid knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience in a document management software, preferably iManage. Experience in an IP Management Solution, preferably Inprotech.
