Rhinebeck, NY, is home to the 84-bed Northern Dutchess Hospital, a nonprofit facility providing quality, award-winning care close to home for area residents. It is part of the Nuvance Health system, which includes seven hospitals and several outpatient facilities serving both the Hudson Valley of New York and western Connecticut. Team Highlights:
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements:
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
