A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Atlanta office supporting a busy insurance litigation practice. ? Salary: $85,000 – $100,000

Position Overview

The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter with strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. This individual will have experience handling general liability litigation , including reviewing medical records and preparing case summaries.

This role requires the ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Flexibility, including overtime as needed, is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation and trial preparation , including trial attendance
• Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and authorizations
• Manage and support the discovery process , including:
• Analyzing medical records and preparing summaries
• Identifying additional providers
• Coordinating document production and organization
• Drafting privilege logs and case-related memoranda
• Coordinate depositions, witnesses, and case logistics
• Conduct factual research and investigations
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and third parties
• Utilize research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw
• Support e-discovery efforts , including handling electronically stored information (ESI)
• Maintain and organize case files using litigation support systems

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a high-volume environment
• Experience with general liability litigation and medical record analysis required
• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate required
• Proficiency with PACER, Relativity, Adobe Acrobat, Trial Director, and case management systems preferred
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• High level of professionalism and discretion with confidential information
• Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
