Activity Specialist

Position Overview Providing unique and enriching vacation experiences for guests through activity delivery and glamping quality. Key Responsibilities Execute, supervise, and provide guidance to a variety of activities offered, not limited to: Archery, throwing activities, aerial activities, and fishing appropriate for ages 6+ Facilitate short tours of property while driving company van Assist guests with activity scheduling and creating a seamless experience Knowledge experts for on-site hiking trails, local adventures, and attractive family destinations Assists the glamping site in housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and lodging Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook Qualifications Minimum age: 18+ Preferred: Outdoor recreation experience Complete USA archery level 1 instructor or BSA archery rangemaster (training provided) Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening) Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication Physical & Practical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily and ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelines Housing: 10'x12' platform tent in Staff Camp | Uniform: Summit Staff Uniform | Work Hours: 45-55 Desired Traits High emotional intelligence (such as self/social awareness and team dynamics) Positive and cheerful attitude with a strong customer-service focus Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn/develop hard and soft skills Ability to connect with individuals from diverse age groups, maturity, and backgrounds Performance Expectations Provide at least one memorable moment that matters to a guest Contribute at least one improvement to department Receive two or more Staff Appreciation Cards from staff or guests Salary: $1600 - $1700 per month #J-18808-Ljbffr The Summit Bechtel Reserve
