Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and hospital protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and detect changes in condition to promptly intervene.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately in the Meditech electronic health record system.
  
  
• 
  Assist with procedures and respond to emergencies within the PCU environment.
  
  
• 
  Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, including ACLS and BLS certification requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess a valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a similar setting.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with IV starts and acute patient management.
  
  
• 
  Hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Be able to float within scope to meet facility staffing needs.
  
  
• 
  Capable of working 12-hour day shifts, including some holidays.
  
  
• 
  Willing to go into the lab within 24 hours after signing, with a negative drug screen within 30 days.
