Adult Day Services of Southeast Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Day Program Instructor to join our team! We are currently hiring multiple Instructors in multiple locations Waukesha, West Allis and South Milwaukee. Position Overview: As a Day Program Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging and meaningful experiences for participants. You will be part of planning and facilitating a diverse range of activities tailored to the interests and abilities of participants. Program activities and experiences promote social interaction, personal growth, and health/wellness. Responsibilities: Develop and implement activity plans based on individualized goals and preferences. Lead group activities such as arts and crafts, games, and recreational community experiences. Provide assistance and support with daily living tasks as needed. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes dignity, respect, and independence. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with participants and their families. Qualifications: Experience working with adults with disabilities or in a similar caregiving role. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations. Creative thinking and the ability to adapt activities to meet individual needs.
