What You'll Do

• Review and evaluate vehicle repair claims using your knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other automotive components.
• Speak with dealerships, repair facilities, and vehicle owners to determine warranty coverage and explain claim decisions.
• Guide customers through the claims process, including next steps for obtaining repair estimates and approvals.
• Analyze repair information to determine whether claims should be approved, denied, or escalated.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation using multiple computer systems and software applications.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while handling high call volumes in a fast-paced environment.

Types of Calls You'll Handle

• Dealerships calling to verify warranty coverage for required repairs.
• Vehicle owners seeking clarification on approved or denied claims.
• Customers looking for guidance on how to initiate a claim for vehicle issues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive mechanic, technician, or related mechanical experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of vehicle repairs, particularly:
  • Engine Repair
  • Transmission Systems
  • Electrical Systems
  • Diagnostic Procedures
• Prior customer service experience with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
• Comfortable working on the phone throughout the day.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish/English candidates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Experience

• Automotive dealership experience.
• Experience using labor guides such as AllData.
• Experience with vehicle diagnostic scanners and tools.
• Previous warranty, service advisor, or claims-related experience.

Training & Work Environment

• Two weeks of formal training.
• Additional hands-on support and mentoring while taking live calls.
• Initial training and onboarding completed fully onsite.
• Hybrid schedule available after successful completion of training and onboarding period.
• Casual, professional office environment with dedicated workspace.

Schedule Details

• Monday-Friday schedules typically range from:
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Occasional Saturday shifts (approximately once per month).
• Flexibility required as shifts may change after onboarding based on business needs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Earth City, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
