Ultrasound Technologist Fort Worth, TX Specialty: Imaging/Ultrasound Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $2247 - $2707 | Shift: 4x10s; Mon-Thu; 1930-0600 Are you an experienced Ultrasound Technologist ready to take your skills to the next level? Do you thrive in a dynamic hospital environment where your expertise can make a real difference? Our healthcare partner is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team and provide exceptional care to patients in need of diagnostic imaging. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform high-quality ultrasound procedures in both ambulatory and hospital settings. Your role is crucial in diagnosing diseases and injuries, and you will work under the general supervision of a Radiologist or physician. Your expertise will ensure that patients receive the best possible care and accurate results.
- Perform ultrasound procedures according to established protocols
- Maintain production and quality standards for imaging procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients using AIDET principles
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring safety and compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and operational capabilities of equipment
- Adhere to safety, infection-control, and radiation policies
- Maintain accurate medical imaging records
- Provide training to new team members as needed
- 4 years minimum experience in ultrasound, with ARDMS-RVT or extensive vascular experience
- Inpatient/hospital experience required
- BLS (AHA Only), RDMS or ARRT certification
- Need 2 years experience in setting
