Compensation range: $29.34 - $39.61. Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience.

Shift: Varied Days off: Variable Hours per pay period: 80 Shift length: 8 Hours

Position Summary

The EEG Technician performs standard EEGs in all settings.

Education / Training / Experience

Desired: Two years of hospital experience performing standard EEGs.

Licenses / Certifications

Minimum: Current CPR certification Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T.) (within 18 months of hire) (dept tracks)

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Must have the ability to learn to perform standard wake, drowsy and sleep EEG tests with general supervision. The ability to learn to perform complex EEGs including extended and continuous EEG's with and without video. The tech must have the ability to perform patient scheduling and charge entry. Must demonstrate technical competence, professional judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
