Introduction Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited small animal practice providing care for dogs and cats. The hospital is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine while building strong relationships with clients and their pets. This opportunity allows veterinarians to work within a supportive, team-oriented environment while serving a loyal community and practicing comprehensive companion animal care. Working Hours / Rota The position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Emergency and urgent care support is available when needed. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care including preventive medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery. Responsibilities include conducting routine examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, mass removals, wound management, and dental procedures, and developing treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, educating clients on preventive health, and collaborating closely with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standards of care. This position is open to experienced veterinarians. Practice Details This AAHA-certified hospital provides full-service veterinary care for companion animals in a welcoming and community-focused environment. Services include Routine Exams, Vaccinations, Dental Care, Emergency and Urgent Care, Geriatric Care, Puppy and Kitten Care, Soft Tissue Surgery, Spaying and Neutering, Mass Removal, Wound Care, and Dental Surgery. The hospital emphasizes preventive medicine, client education, and compassionate care while maintaining high medical standards supported by AAHA accreditation. Team The hospital is supported by 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and mentorship-focused environment where teamwork and high-quality patient care are central to the practice.
