Receptionist / Medical Records

Job Summary:

Marion Rehabilitation, a thriving community dedicated to providing comprehensive care, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Receptionist/Medical Records professional to join our team. As a vital member of our front-office team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions, while maintaining the accuracy and confidentiality of patient medical records.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients, families, and staff members in a professional and courteous manner

• Manage daily patient schedules, appointments, and correspondence

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient information, diagnoses, treatments, and test results

• Ensure confidentiality and security of patient records and information

• Perform data entry and retrieval of patient records as needed

• Provide excellent customer service, responding to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries

• Maintain a clean and organized office environment

• Collaborate with other department staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 0+ years of experience in a medical setting preferred

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

• Must have active STNA Licenses

• On call rotation
