Job TitleJob DescriptionEvaluates complex price and cost proposals for major weapon systems, serving as a subject matter expert in applying Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) to determine cost reasonableness and allocability.Evaluates contractor financial compliance, cost accounting standards, and disclosure statements to develop strategic government negotiation positions.Formulates technical reports and independent pricing models to resolve difficult cost differences and guide contracting officers on compliance issues.Leads cross-functional teams in evaluating price trends, conducting risk assessments, and representing the government's position during negotiations.Manages complex cost accounting actions and deadlines to ensure agency acquisition policies and federal regulations are consistently met.Evaluates adequacy and compliance of contractor proposed accounting changes and supports the development of official government positions and negotiation strategies.Coordinates, reviews, and integrates team member analyses of cost elements and risk areas into comprehensive guidance.
