Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' emotional and psychological well-being, focusing on the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

  • Design individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ needs, goals, and personal preferences, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

  • Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring that each client's therapeutic strategy remains effective.

  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to integrate care and ensure holistic treatment.

  • Stay up to date with the latest research and methodologies in mood disorder treatment, striving to enhance our therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will work primarily with individuals and families facing life-changing events, such as divorce and relationship issues.
