Registered Respiratory Therapist
Location: Asheville, NC
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Services department. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, working with advanced respiratory care equipment and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care services to adult and pediatric patients.
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and medications.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Utilize advanced equipment including GE R860 Adult vents and Draeger Infant/Peds vents.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- North Carolina Respiratory License
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required
- NRP preferred
