Part-Time Art Instructor - Aurora, CO

Location: Children’s Art Classes – Aurora, CO Start Date: TBD Pay: $28-$31/hour While we don’t have an immediate opening, we’re always interested in connecting with qualified Part-Time Art Instructors as we continue to grow. We are looking for a certified art teacher with a minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience to lead some of our camps this summer and take on classes for our fall curriculum. All supplies and a full, structured curriculum are provided. Core classes are small and capped at 13 students per class. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Art Education or a BFA (required) Minimum of 5 years of in-classroom teaching experience Curriculum delivery experience Strong classroom management skills Skills & Attributes Passion for teaching and inspiring young artists—from littles to teens A team player who cares about students, quality of education, coworkers, the community, and our school’s success Effective and exceptional classroom management and leadership skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational abilities Integrity, transparency, and honest communication—please do not misrepresent yourself Additional Requirements Must be able to work select week nights and Saturdays.
