Custodian IOur site in San Luis Obispo is seeking a Custodian to join our team. The Custodian is responsible for cleaning within the facilities, maintaining a clean and healthy work environment.What You'll Do:Cleans sanitizes and deodorizes restrooms, and break areas including all fixturesResponsible for collecting rubbish, recyclable materials and properly placing them in the bulk collection areaOperate the cardboard bailer including banding bailsSweeps floors, vacuums carpetsKeeps the Maintenance Supervisor informed of all issuesCompletes miscellaneous tasks as assignedMaintains a clean and safe work areaWears required Personal Protective EquipmentPerforms duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety proceduresCommunicates potential hazards immediately to supervisor and identifies / corrects potential unsafe conditionsDusting all surfaces and cleaning ventsResponsible for cleaning facilities equipmentAssists with relocating employees within the facilityAssists with setting up and tearing down for special occasionsLet's the facilities supervisor know when supplies need to be orderedAny other duties as assignedWhat We Seek:High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to lift 50 lbs., walk and stand during entire shift.Works in a manufacturing and office environment.What We Offer:At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
