Front Desk Patient Coordinator We are looking for an energetic, team-oriented Patient Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our practice. From the moment a patient walks through our doors until they check out, you'll help create an experience that is friendly, professional, and memorable. We are a busy clinic. On any given day, you may be answering phones, checking in patients, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, helping coworkers, and solving unexpected problems—all while maintaining a smile and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Include: Greeting and welcoming patients with warmth and professionalism Answering, screening, and directing incoming phone calls Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow Verifying vision and medical insurance benefits Collecting and posting patient payments Providing accurate information in person, by phone, and electronically Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area Assisting with administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and document management Supporting teammates and stepping in wherever needed to ensure patients receive excellent care What We're Looking For: Outstanding customer service and communication skills Strong computer and technology skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities Positive attitude and willingness to learn Dependable team player who enjoys helping others Professional appearance and demeanor Experience in healthcare or optometry is helpful, but a great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are even more important.
