Responsibilities
- Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, contributing to ongoing therapy plans.
- Plan and implement an ongoing therapeutic OT program as prescribed by the ordering physician; adjust as needed.
- Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs; independently manage a full caseload and determine when re-evaluations are warranted based on insurance authorization.
- Document care in EMR systems (Net Health Therapy and Meditech) and coordinate care with rehab and acute rehab teams.
- Support holiday coverage as necessary in alignment with hospital operations.
- Onboarding requirements include arriving the Thursday before the start date to complete employee health processes.

Requirements
- Hawaii State active Occupational Therapy Assistant license; must have license by the start of the assignment (if not already licensed, apply on acceptance of offer).
- BLS certification from American Red Cross.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience with adults in both outpatient and acute settings.
- Proficiency with EMR systems Net Health Therapy and Meditech.
- Ability to work in inpatient and outpatient acute care rehab environments; must be available for the listed day-shift schedule.
