Local Delivery Driver - Class B CDL Location: Des Moines, IA Base Pay Range: $20.00/hr - $20.00/hr Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Class B Delivery Driver based out of our Des Moines Branch. What you’ll do: Safety first: safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines. Operate and unload in varying weather conditions. Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner. Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly. Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally. What we look for: Valid interstate eligible driver's license, 21+ or older. Ability to work early morning hours (2 AM – 4 AM depending on the route). Access to reliable transportation. Pass a background check (including sex offender registry). Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen. Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query. Must be able to read and write in English. Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders. Must be comfortable driving a straight truck.
