Provides a comprehensive program of services for emotional and developmental support to minimize the stress of illness/hospitalization. Advocate for the special needs of children and their families.Position Specifics: Department: Pediatric Core Function: Behavioral Health/Social WorkSchedule: Monday - FridayFacility: St John’s Hospital Location: Springfield, IL **Education Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required.* Master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.**Experience Qualifications*** Possess knowledge in human growth and development, family dynamics, play, developmental observation and assessment.**Certifications, Licenses and Registrations*** Certified Child Life Specialist is required.
