Design Engineer

A Design Engineer at Husco works collaboratively across internal and external teams, consistently and creatively pushes the boundary of what is possible to create immediate value for our customers. Design Engineer Performance Objectives Collaborate in Product Design and Program Launch: Initially follow program from prototype build through launch and apply product knowledge to new product development/design. Coordinate Build and Testing of Prototypes: Work closely with Lab Technicians or individually to develop necessary tests for product. Troubleshoot and Debug Design Flaws: Take a hands‑on problem‑solving approach to product design complications by utilizing engineering principles/theories, tools, data and software to overcome product design issues and test failures. Interface with the Customer: Work with customers to understand application and special requirements. Assist Project Engineers or Program Managers with concepts and reviews with customer. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferred emphasis in Mechanical or related Engineering discipline Demonstrated understanding of basic engineering concepts, technical capabilities, and skills Strong oral, written, and listening communication skills Ability to interact with people at all levels of responsibility Ability and willingness to travel internationally (HUSCO IS PROUD TO BE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.) #J-18808-Ljbffr
