Field service technician

job summary:
Global manufacturer is seeking a Plumbing Field Service Technician to add to their team in the Castile, NY area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with plumbing as well as electrical wiring and troubleshooting/repair of electromechanical equipment and a good work ethic. Refrigeration a plus, otherwise will provide training for certification! Overnight travel required, max 50%. Overtime paid at 1.5 over 40 hours and company vehicle provided. This is a day shift role with excellent benefits and 401K!

responsibilities:

• Responsible for the proper and timely installation of mechanical equipment on dairy farms

• Perform plumbing tasks as needed

• Advise customers on the proper use, operation and maintenance of the electromechanical equipment

• Drive a service vehicle, and maintain the vehicle and parts/tools needed to complete the job

• Minimum high school degree and strong mathematical aptitude required

• Experience with electrical wiring which is high/low circuitry a plus

• Welding, fabrication and HVAC abilities a plus, will train on HVAC for the right candidate

• Willingness to travel, max 50%
