Role Overview

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on enhancing production systems and controls to prevent defects. The position involves reviewing and standardizing work instructions, analyzing processes, and implementing improvements to ensure quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify the accuracy of work instructions for manufacturing processes.
• Analyze and reconcile work instructions from different engine manufacturers to propose standardized process steps.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure adequate detection controls are incorporated into work instructions.
• Conduct analysis of shop floor practices against documented procedures to identify and address gaps.
• Support the development and implementation of Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
• Analyze non-conformance trends and recommend corrective actions to improve process effectiveness.
• Represent the Quality function in team activities to integrate quality management system requirements.

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.

Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the aerospace or automotive industries.
