Registered Nurse Assistant Director of Nursing – Clermont Park

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support our long-term care neighborhoods and help lead our clinical team with vision, heart, and excellence. This role is an essential part of our Clinical Leadership team , contributing to strategic goals while also being hands-on in the daily rhythm of resident life and care.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing and act on their behalf when needed
Serve as a Mentor and Coach , leading by example to build and maintain a resilient, dedicated care team
Ensure the highest quality of care through direct assessments, team development, and evidence-based practices
Champion a culture of continuous learning by providing ongoing education to nursing team members
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Be a visible leader—present on the floor and available to residents, families, and clinicians

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications & Experience
- Registered Nurse in good standing in the state of operation, long-term care experience preferred.
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
- 1 – 3 years experience as an LPN/RN.
- 1 – 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- 1 year of experience in educating and/or training adult learners.
- Expertise in PPS, MDS, OBRA and OSHA requirements preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable of state and federal laws and regulations for skilled nursing facility operation in the State of operation.
- Administrative experience preferred.
- Must be able to demonstrate competence in relevant technology.
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
- Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.
- Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours.
- Is subject to frequent interruptions.
- Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently.
