Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; monitor and respond to changes in patient status. Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels; delegate tasks appropriately. Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines to ensure safe, effective treatment plans. Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety, infection control, and quality-of-care standards. Contribute to unit operations in a general acute care setting with a medical/surgical mix, following organizational policies and procedures.
